Mr. Daniel Smith of D&S Performance located in NJ. This motor is fortified with iron Stage-1 heads that were fully ported/port-matched to an Edelbrock Performer intake, and TA Performance's "TA290-08H" cam with 509/504-inch lift. This "Cold-Air-Induction System was designed to feed those "torque-monster" Big-Block Buick 455 V8's, and with a special custom designed "cold-air" intake plenum measuring 5-1/2-inches in diameter ... dense, cooler air to the carburetor or Holley's MPFI carb-type fuel injection systems.

MY ORIGINAL PROTOTYPE/DESIGN tested on '87 Buick Regal with original Olds 307 V8. This system works on ALL automobiles with 2-4 Barrel carburetors, and carb-style MPFI systems as well. MY SYSTEM IMPROVES YOUR AUTOMOBILE'S POWER & SPEED due in part to a HUGE cold-air intake plenum (prototype version shown) in unison with a "unique ram-box design" that forces vast amounts of cooler/denser air from OUTSIDE the engine's bay into the engine ... not "hot" power-robbing air from INSIDE the engine's bay. For Buick 455/Regal set-ups using TA Performance chassis mounts/frame pad kit, you will be able to close the Regal's hood with a 5-inch NAS-TECH System!
