NAS-TECH ENGINEERING'S specialty is "custom" Cold-Air-Induction Systems for "any" automobile powered by fuel and air.

SPECIAL NOTE:
The "Custom 2-Stage Cold-Air-Induction System" designed for and from my 1987 Buick 455 Stage-1 Special-T Regal is under modification to lighten it, and molded of a different material than aluminum.

These are new photos of a custom "CAIS" I created for a customer's 1999 Toyota Rav-4 (California Emissions) with the base 20.-liter inline-4 cylinder engine, with automatic transmission, and front-wheel drive.

The "air-restrictive" 1-3/4-inch diameter factory upper air intake system (along with the crappy sound-baffle box & the factory-style EGR) was deleted in favor of a larger diameter "custom-bent" 2-1/2-inch aluminized upper intake plenum between the factory air-filter box and the 2.0-liter's throttle-body.

About 4-inches of the 2-1/2-inch diameter upper intake plenum's diameter increases to 3-inches (future plans are to install a larger custom 3-inch upper intake plenum). Inside the factory air-filter's box, resides a conical K&N air filter. The factory position of  ALL sensors & vacuum lines remain ... nothing to relocate.

All of our "CAIS" do not employ the use of the factory air-filter box ... this particular design was created for a customer that did not want much of the "high-tech-look" but the true benefits of Cold-Air-Induction on a budget. That 'happy" customer is ... my girlfriend.
